COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course we will cover the last 8 chapters of Athenaze I, and the corresponding portions of Greek: An Intensive Course, Ancient Greek for Everyone, and Shelmerdine’s Introduction to Greek. The approach stresses grammar with each chapter to be translated in class. Students are expected to learn the vocabulary and the paradigms necessary for reading proficiency progression. While four classes at once may seem to be overkill, laying a solid foundation in your first year of study of Attic Greek will make the acquisition of the language much easier.
